History
Although no one knows when Fernando first joined the chapter, he’s managed to create a history for himself. He joins us for all of our chapter activities and travels, making him a truly dedicated sister.

At the Midwest District Convention in 2003, Fernando was mistaken as the University of Colorado-Boulder’s (CU) mascot and stolen away from our chapter by the Beta chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. In an effort to get Fernando back to us after convention, he was given to the Alpha Iota chapter of TBS at the University of Minnesota (U of MN). After living with a sister alumni for two years, Fernando was finally returned to us upon a chapter visit to the U of MN to visit our sister chapter.

Upon his return, he has traveled the district with some members of the chapter visiting Iowa, Missouri and Colorado once again. Fernando has also attended a national convention on behalf of the chapter and gotten to meet one of our most famous founders, Wava Banes-Henry, along with the national officer team.
